When a company responds to the earthquake tragedies by providing contributions to aid the victims or support a charity walk or marathon event to raise funds for the less fortunate in the society, such a positive contribution is received with a lot of support from the society.? The company enjoys the benefits of being accepted in the community. This turns out to be another way of promoting business growth. The environment within which the company operates is rendered favorable. The company can make a full swing to invest in other areas within the society. However, when it receives a resistance from the community, it may not survive in its operations. The need for business organizations to expand their operations prompts them to first win the support of the society.
